Provenir Healthcare is actively searching for a Practice Manager – Multi-Specialty Clinics – Outpatient overseeing multiple clinics in Central Texas.
Manage clinic operations for each specialty to include periodic review of reports / work flow specific to each provider. Makes changes in resource allocation, spending, and other relevant cost center activity to ensure the financial viability and budget compliance.
Support and adheres to the HCM, OSHA, HIPAA, Meaningful Use, Medical Home etc. guidelines and controls and related policies and procedures, and ensures that administrative and business activities and patient care are conducted in support of operational excellence.
With the support of and in coordination with the Human Resources and Organization Development function, maintains positive personnel relations and strives to make HCM an employer of choice by ensuring that team member questions and concerns are addressed responsively.
Ensure compliance with laws and regulations and adherence to policies and procedures. Ensure that performance management programs for staff and physicians are effectively administered and that all staff receives on-going feedback and coaching on job performance, competencies, values-based behaviors and developmental needs.
Ensure that policies and procedures regarding corporate compliance and privacy of patient and associate information are observed.
Maintains communication, leadership and management expertise to satellite offices.
Manages clinical & office supplies and medications for daily and long term operations.
Carry out normal supervisory duties and responsibilities, such as interviewing and hiring subordinates, conducting performance appraisals & QCP. Adjudicating requests for time off or other team member requests. Adjudicating formal grievances or responding to other individual team member concerns, recognizing team member’s accomplishments, etc. Carry out other duties and special assignments as delegated by the leadership team.
Exercise due diligence in contracting for supplies etc. Personally model professional confidentiality and discretion in all communications and exchanges of information.
Demonstrate a visible working style, acts in a manner that is consistent with and shows commitment to the HCM Values and leadership competencies.
Knowledge of medical/clinical financial operations, clinical coding, payer payment protocols, revenue cycle.
Excellent computer skills, data entry speed and accuracy, and related office equipment. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships with physicians, staff, payers and colleagues.
Understanding of physician reimbursement protocols under state and federal programs.
Candidates qualified for the position must have:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 3-5 years of prior Healthcare Administration / Clinical experience
- Pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Multispecialty clinic experience preferred
- Bilingual Spanish is helpful
This is a direct hire position. Base pay ranges depending on experience, $60-$70k annually.
