Nurse Practitioner – Temple, TX

The Nurse Practitioner will work onsite with a local employer providing care for the employees. Hours are Monday – Friday 8a-5p – no weekends. This is a 3 month contract with the possibility for an extension. Will begin on or about 12.1.2023 and tentatively end 3.1.2024.

Will diagnose and treat injuries and illnesses on a walk-in basis; perform pre-placement physicals and DOT physicals. Will perform some in-office procedures and provide medical guidance. Will complete all related documentation.

Skills:
– Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems
– Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members
– Ability to lift and move heavy objects or equipment, such as durable medical equipment (DME)
