ACNP Pediatric Locum Galveston, TX

We are looking for a compassionate FT LOCUM PEDIATRIC Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to lead an amazing Team of professionals. This is a 15 bed Pediatric ICU unit, with mostly burn patients. If you have a desire to improve the quality of life for children and their families, look no further!
This is a FULL TIME LOCUM (Long Term) Day position.

SCHEDULE: (4) 10-hour days, M-F, NO WEEKENDS!

COMPENSATION: Starting at $120/hr

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Active ACNP License
• 1-2 years of experience as an MSN-NP (Acute Care NP)
• 1-2 years of Pediatric experience
• Experience treating/caring/bathing/sedating pediatric burn patients
• COVID Vaccine required

Duties/Responsibilities:

• assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of identified health needs
• ordering and interpretation of diagnostic and/or laboratory tests
• formulating, documenting, and monitoring treatment plans
• routine wound or post-operative dressing management
• ordering interdisciplinary consults
• ordering pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies and/or interventions

Pay: From $120.00 per hour
